History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rolf grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rolf. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Spice Merchant. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Spice Merchant for the past few years.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Guy was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new jeweler responsibilities is difficult

History: Jocelyn was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Jocelyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
