Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he is wearing a long, green cloak. His blonde hair is unkempt and raggedy. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. The war was a terrible time for him, and Alexandre does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a Butcher, his father struggled to pay the bills. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Alexandre has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: An older man who usually wears his black robe and has his bow always slung over his shoulder, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is chestnut, silky, and of moderate length. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Server they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Dilettante, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bernard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to unite with his brother

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. After months of barely getting by, Alex managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
