History: Kody was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep grey leather and dull white iron scale mail. His golden hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: He wears brown trousers with green and blue striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. He carries with him a set of falchions on his belt, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. His red hair has been sun bleached extensively. His violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.
