History: Patrick was born the youngest of three triplets. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and regain custody of his daughter

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he's looking for his big break
