History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, and he perpetually has his sickle ready. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and wants to work out more often

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Alexandre was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
