Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a mace on his belt. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He has a long blonde beard with little hanging trinkets. His eyes are likewise violet. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.
History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a white coat. He carries with him a set of shields on his belt, each one with a jet on the hilt. He has shaved his head bald. His eyes are hazel and beady.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Diggory fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light white in addition to tight pants. He has a long brown beard with little hanging trinkets. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.
Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing red cape and mantle trimmed with soft brown waves gently in the breeze. His silver hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a card scrunchie. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Spy but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: Born in the east to a Spy, Gilbert learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He now owns his own business.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: This southern man is wearing a long, tan, dusty cloak. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wishes to resurrect an old love
