His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Alex is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. Kody enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born in the north. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kody fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to work out more often

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears long strands of topaz and short brown dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths, and is pretty ugly. He has styled his auburn hair well, parting it to the left. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

History: Born in the east to a Engraver, Arnold learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Engraver. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
