His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His white hair is matted, messy, and big. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Roland was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Roland's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Balimaar was born the youngest of three triplets. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
