History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he has decided he is irredeemable

He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a blue coat. His red hair is greasy and uncared for. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Chad enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Chad was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Chad's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Lewis embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Lewis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He comes from a rich western family. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and a deep hatred of dire rats
