Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He wears tattered old clothes, marred by beers. With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. His violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Roland lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Roland's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born to a Barrister, his father struggled to pay the bills. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Roland never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
