History: Norman hails from a village terrorized by illithids. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His family was turned out during the war. Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A gifted student he started as a Gardener, but he got bored and became a Ruler. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Gardener they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Ruler, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Ruler and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Nicholas was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Spy. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.
