History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Diggory grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Diggory. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Hunter for hire.

History: He got into the Mayor business at a young age. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a black coat. He wears a Stetson hat to cover his moderate length auburn hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Description: He stands about 5'4" and is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His silver hair is still thick. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: This light-skinned male wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His auburn hair is smooth and relatively long. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
