Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his scimitar with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His hair is short and silver. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his violet eyes.
Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Spice Merchant who has hired him part-time. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: Randal lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Description: This man wears a grey vest and prefers blue and green shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His blonde hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. A true patriot, John would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He is greedy.

Personality: Roger is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: Roger hails from a village terrorized by giants. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Roger was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of giants

Description: This dark-skinned male wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His red hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Godfrey grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: He wears a black cloak and cross-gartered tan stockings. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His auburn hair has been sun bleached extensively. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. The war was a terrible time for him, and Arnold does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and doesn't want to be a barber and was forced into it by his family
