History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Crown-heir work with an outfit from a few towns over. History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Chad was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Chad's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
