Bertram Graeme, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears dull blue sweaters, loose yellow pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed hammer, just in case, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'4" when asserting himself. His silver hair is matted, messy, and big. His hazel eyes peer out from beneath his small blue hat.
Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Bertram was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Bertram's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Richard Appleton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This western man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his bastard sword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His clothes are grease stained in places. He has no hair. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed white hat.
Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Richard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and to pay off his debts
Ideals: Justice. Flaws: Ugly, Depressed. Bonds: Poor, Immigrant. Occupation: Layabout

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carpenter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Personal [hide]
Description: This tall, slender man wears skinny pants and wears a violet and green robe with the hood down. His chestnut hair is smooth and relatively long. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Bernard took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he seems to be bored by most things
Flaws: Insomniac, Antagonistic, Mundane, Depressed. Bonds: Nature. Occupation: Roofer
Voice: Speaks with a cold
