Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a hammer, but if one is not available he will default to his quarterstaff. With a patchy red beard and wild red hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Hugh enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. After a long history of fighting, Hugh and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Scribe but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Shane lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and an old rival family wants him found
