When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shoemaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Lewis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Born in the east to a Beggar, Simon learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Sage, but he was a colossal failure. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Dean lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Dean was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He tends to his Herbalist job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He struck the Body Guard job and began his own company from there.
