Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Carpenter, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: William hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, William is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: William was born the youngest of three triplets. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family.
