Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born in the west to a Carter, Gerard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Description: He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'8" when asserting himself. He wears a colorful flower in his red hair. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Norman will drive conversation. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is greedy

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Chad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he is greedy

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Mortician father left him crippled. After a long history of fighting, Randal and his spouse have recently divorced.
