History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. In his youth he was a Bather, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bernard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He now mingles about in high society.
