He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Nicholas was born with his father's beautiful face. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. At a young age his father died while driving off some brigands. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in greataxe use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and regain custody of his son

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carpenter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
