Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against drow

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy brown stubble. He is dressed in a clean brown cloak covering his clean studded leather. He has a hunchback. His brown hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Henry enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bookbinder work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bookbinder work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has achieved small success as a Bookbinder.

His white hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Guard. He is harsh and unforgiving.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He tends to his Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to be a bather again

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a black collared shirt and brown pants. He accessorizes with a green scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. His silver hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are blue and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Marshal hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against goblins
