Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. He very much looks the part of a Layabout. He has a long silver beard with little hanging trinkets. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 5'1" and wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with top hat. His white hair and beard is wavy and long. His ears are large.
Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Description: This malnourished man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty blue coat over it. He keeps his brown hair in a flapper bob. He has hazel eyes.
Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bellfounder. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bellfounder.
Motivation: To be a Merchant again.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. He wears a tight fitting white shirt and pants. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His golden hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a butterfly scrunchie. His blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.
History: Richard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Richard has worked very hard to control his curse. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and many dire rats want him driven away
