History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Guard job and began his own company from there.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Jocelyn was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.
