History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Peter was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bookbinder. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bookbinder.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Alexandre was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has achieved small success as a Guard.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and he is unsatisfied with his job
