He has dyed his greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Knight work with an outfit from a few towns over. Knight work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
