History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Ernest reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Gilbert and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This late middle aged man is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing brown cape and mantle trimmed with soft tan waves gently in the breeze and is in decent physical shape. He has shaved his head bald. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Aldous is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born into a rich family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
