History: Adelard was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and retire the richest man in the north

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
