History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Jeweler arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

After a long history of fighting, Gilbert and his spouse have recently divorced.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He lacks moral complications.
