History: Bertram lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Fortune-teller for the past few years.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills.
