He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Dyer.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
