History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a Dyer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Recently the stress of being a Guard has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sellsword hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he's looking for his big break

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His chestnut hair is heavily combed to the left. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Rolf was born with his mother's beautiful face. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing blue cape and mantle trimmed with soft grey waves gently in the breeze. He has shaved his head bald. He has gleaming, smiling gray eyes.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
