History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: A moderately attractive man, he is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His hair is long and brown with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Conrad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of a Cartwright, who enjoyed hunting, Heward was taken on many hunting expeditions. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Heward was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it
