The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Shane took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up hand crossbow and armor he uses now. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Chad was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.
