Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a whip on his belt. His long auburn hair reaches down to his waist. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Charles was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Charles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Lance hails from a village terrorized by giants. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and revenge

Description: He prefers to wear black clothing when he does not wear armor. He carries with him a set of clubs, each one with a opal on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His long red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his druidic talents. He was granted druidic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: This man wears light armors faded through time and improper care. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His chestnut hair is knotted and matted. He has green eyes and a black hat with a grey feather.

Personality: Arnold is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Arnold grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Arnold alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears tattered old clothes. He has no hair. This hazel eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Alex was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Alex's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and doesn't want to be a guard and was forced into it by his family
