When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Servant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: An older man who is wearing a long, blue, dusty cloak, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Mercenary.

His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Hugh alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Conrad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Marshal profession.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He tends to his Glassblower job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
