History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has worked as a Mortician like his mother before him.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Ralf was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Ralf never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
