History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Raymond grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Raymond abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature trident.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Lance was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mortician hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, he dresses well, wearing pastel shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His golden hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Adelard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a shortspear, but if one is not available he will default to his axe. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has done his best to style his chestnut hair to look like a famous performer. His ears are large.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His brown hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Anthony is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Layabout and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
