History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Baker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
