He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Adelard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around his ears. He has brown eyes and a brown hat with a black feather.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Born in the south to a Laborer, Jocelyn learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He became a Laborer soon after.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Nicholas was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Gifted from a young age, Hubert studied abroad. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hubert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
