Description: He is a pot bellied western man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He dresses in green turtlenecks beneath a blue coat with black slacks. His silver hair is knotted and matted. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: John was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. John fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to work out more often

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears skinny pants and wears a green and black robe with the hood down. His golden hair is thinning but still full. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears white robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a crossbow, but if one is not available he will default to his lance. His hair is short and black. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Don was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of gnolls
