History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Ruler who has hired him part-time. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ruler for the past few years.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Frederick hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He married young, but lost his spouse to illithids. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
