The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Cory took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up rapier and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has taken up work as a Scribe and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His skin is also unnaturally pale. Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Alex has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was born into a rich family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now mingles about in high society.
