History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cartwright for the past few years.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Adelard grew up listening to his father's many stories. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Architect kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bernard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
