History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

After coming to the age of reason, John took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving William alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
