History: Aldous hails from a village terrorized by giants. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Jeweler they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Performer, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Bertram isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Bertram was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Map Maker. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
