Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His golden hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a butterfly scrunchie. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His head has been shaved. His gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. At a young age his mother died while driving off some dire rats. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in bastard sword use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Jocelyn was born the youngest of three triplets. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Seamstress they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his bastard sword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His blonde hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a Unemployed, his father struggled to pay the bills. After coming to the age of reason, Adelard took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Lance is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
