History: Robert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barber hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Gunter alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
