Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and many dire rats want him driven away

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He worked as a nervous Map Maker and found it very stressful. He tends to his Map Maker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
