History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Scribe.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears tattered old clothes. He has a long silver beard with little hanging trinkets. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Adelard was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Adelard decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His red hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Gerard will drive conversation. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and wants to raise his children well
